Sanderling

Drawn from its setting of ocean and shifting sand dunes, Sanderling is an exercise in restraint — clever design achieved through minimal materiality that lets the surroundings speak. The brief was for a timeless home, realised through consistency of detail, a pared-back aesthetic and considered moments of luxury in metal, lighting and natural stone. Off-form concrete columns set the architectural tone, echoed in a palette of light, sandy hues lifted by highlights of gold and brass.
