As a practice led and shaped by women, we foster an adaptable, supportive environment for the people behind the work—an ethos that directly informs the care we bring to our clients. Operating as a collaborative collective of designers, project leads, and craftspeople, we build lasting, trusted relationships with architects, builders, and trades to ensure every detail is executed with intention.

Principal & Founder

Emma Buchan

With over twenty years in the industry across Australia and the UK, Emma Buchan is the Founder and Principal of EB Interiors—a studio she established after recognising a gap in the local market for high-end design backed by genuine technical expertise. Her passion took root early, trailing her builder father around sites and sketching houses as a child; interior design was never really in question as a path.

Having worked across multiple disciplines before starting her own practice, Emma is driven by the relationship between design and the people who inhabit it—whether a home, office, showroom, or restaurant, that human connection sits at the centre of her work. A keen interest in colour psychology informs her belief that a well-considered space should genuinely shape how people feel, every time they step into it. Beyond the work itself, her enduring vision is to build a flexible, open, and supportive studio that empowers women.
