Overlooking Cronulla marina, this penthouse caters to the quintessential Australian lifestyle — high-end detailing held within an open plan that invites relaxed living and a constant connection to the water. Working sympathetically with the original architecture, EB repositioned the kitchen to the heart of the home, so the harbour view could be enjoyed while cooking and gathering at the island. An existing curved staircase wraps the dining area, and living spaces spill onto a generous deck where the pool visually merges with the sea beyond. Natural stone and timber meet rich fabrics — a deep blue velvet sofa, tan leather — while an aquarium spanning the wall brings the serenity of the seaside in.
