Nautilus

A resort-style residence of extraordinary scale, Nautilus is as remarkable in its finite detail as in its sheer size. Designing the full interior allowed EB to delve into every space individually while holding to a considered overall plan — one of balance, synergy and quiet opulence, realised through extensive joinery and polished finishes. Spanning more than four years, the project saw the studio work closely with the client, consultants and a diverse community of artisans and trades. Among its highlights: seven bedrooms, two guest pavilions, twenty-three bathrooms, six kitchens, a commercial-grade bar, bowling alley, cinema, Turkish bath, a two-storey boathouse and three lifts.
