Rock House

Inspired by the linear language of Frank Lloyd Wright, Rock House was conceived to complement its natural surroundings rather than compete with them. A palette of natural materials and colours is drawn from the landscape, the building's striking geometry softened by organic curves within. The central staircase is the clearest expression of this — its organic movement a graceful break from strong horizontal lines. Mirrors and broad expanses of glass blur the threshold between inside and out, framing uninterrupted views across to the Royal National Park. Outside, an enormous sandstone boulder beside the pool is encased in matching cladding — modern architecture in quiet sympathy with what was already there. The result is luxurious yet warm: a refined, timeless home made to grow with its family for generations.
